I recently had the opportunity to photograph "The Child & Youth Program (CYP) 3rd Annual Fashion Show" held in the W.T. Sampson High School gymnasium on the Naval Station Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.
Had a wonderful time watching the children strut their stuff on the runway, there were some real fashion divas and then there were the children that sprinted to the end of the runway, turned and sprinted back. The clothes were colorful, the atmosphere was entertaining and the show was superb.
There were about 25 children modeling sportswear, casual wear, evening wear and cultural wear.
Initially all the lights were out except the stage and runway lighting with a spotlight, that changed to some lights on and the stage and runway lights with no spotlight. The lighting changed continually all evening, I think somebody was having some fun flipping switches.
A fabulous time was had by all.
